The Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our growing team at the Alaska Native Medical Center (ANMC) in Anchorage, Alaska. As a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center, ANMC represents over 30 medical specialties and serves as the tertiary referral center for Alaska Native and American Indian people across the state. Our breadth of pathology, cohesive team and breathtaking geography make this a one-of-a-kind practice opportunity!

Our team provides comprehensive 24/7 inpatient coverage in our state-of-the-art, 4-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) expandable to 8 beds. Inpatient consults and procedures. You will admit and manage patients in a supportive environment with a focus on delivering quality care and the opportunity to spend time interacting with patients and families.

Qualifications: all candidates must have : Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Certification; PALS certification; State of Alaska Advanced Practice Nurse or PA License or Valid State Medical license.

  1. Master’s Degree in Nursing with Certification as a Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner by an approved national certifying body Minimum of 2 years PICU experience as NP is required, will consider CICU time, will count advanced training such as Acute Care APP Fellowship towards years of experience

OR

  1. Physician Assistant Minimum of 2 years PICU experience as practicing PA is required, will consider CICU time, will count advanced training such as Acute Care APP Fellowship towards years of experience

OR

  1. PICU Hospitalist. Must be BE/BC in Pediatrics. Ideal Candidate would have strong recommendation letters from Pediatric Critical Care Attendings from residency training.
