Job Summary

Geisinger Wyoming Valley (GWV) in Wilkes-Barre, PA is seeking a certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our pediatric hospitalist team. Experience preferred but new graduates will be considered.

Job Duties

  • Coverage for deliveries as needed to include coverage for C-sections. Care will be for low-risk deliveries of well infants 35 weeks and above. Sick infants will transfer to a Level III NICU at GWV

  • Most admissions from community-based physicians and upon referral from ED

  • Receive consults from other services on admitted patients and Acadia Geisinger Behavioral Health

  • Flexible schedule

  • AP support in the nursery
