We are working with Cone Health Moses Cone Hospital. They are seeking Pediatric Nurse Practitioner coverage starting in November. 28 Pediatric Beds
22 PICU and 6 Ped Beds
Position Details:
Pediatric NP
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, plus call
• Patient Volume: Average of 16-22 patients per day
• Patient Population: Includes a large number of refugee and immigrant families with excellent in-person interpreter support
• Patient Complexity: Many patients with medical complexities (G-tubes, tracheostomies)
• PICU Patients: Typically lower acuity (e.g., asthmatics, bronchiolitis on HFNC, DKA, seizures)
• Supervision: All patients supervised by pediatric hospitalist attendings or board-certified PICU attendings
• Team Structure: University of North Carolina residents staff both pediatrics and PICU 24/7
• Purpose: Support a second team during daytime when winter patient volume exceeds the resident cap
• EMR System: EPIC

Requirements:
• Certifications: BLS and PALS
• Licensing: Active DEA license
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Nurse Practitioner
