Our client is currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join their dynamic healthcare team. As a PNP/FNP at their community health center, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive healthcare services to pediatric and family patients. They are dedicated to delivering high-quality, accessible, and patient-centered care to their diverse community.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough health assessments, examinations, and medical histories for pediatric and family patients.
  • Diagnose and treat common acute and chronic health conditions in pediatric and family populations.
  • Provide preventive care, immunizations, and health education to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records for all patients.
  • Foster strong patient-provider relationships through effective communication and empathy.
  • Participate in community outreach programs, health screenings, and health education initiatives.
  • Stay informed about the latest developments in primary care and pediatric healthcare.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Nursing with specialization as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
  • Current state Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license and certification as a PNP or FNP.
  • Strong clinical skills in pediatric and family medicine.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and counseling skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based healthcare environment.
  • Commitment to providing culturally competent and patient-centered care.
  • Dedication to community health and the well-being of pediatric and family patients.

Please note- The annual base salary range is $130 to $160k. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
