Schedule: 8:30a – 5p (Monday – Friday)
Work Details:
• Support staff: MA, Secretary, RN, Manager
• Amount of coverage needed per month: full time 20 shifts per week
• Patients per day: The combined practices see approximately 100 patients per day with schedules at 20 patients per day. A 20/40-minute schedule would be allotted for a Locums provider with the expectation that 18 patients per day are seen.
• Patient population/age: Pediatric patients and Newborns to age 21 would be expected to be seen.
• Department description: network of 40 hospital employed physician practices encompassing 230 providers and 600 staff. 2 offices are part of that network and this provider will be expected to see patients at one of the two offices each day M-F based on the needs of the office each week. They have a structured management system to manage the operations of these practices . there are 7 physicians and 1 PA in the practice. NO call and or hospital rounding.
• EMR: EPIC – may need to use Meditech to access patient history that has not been put in the EMR system since joining in May of 2023
• Skills required: pediatric sick visits of all types, newborn exams, well exams 1 mo – 21 years, ADHD, Behavioral and developmental concerns, some anxiety and depression illness
• Equipment: all included – NO stethoscope (must provide)

Requirements:
• Board Certification: ABP certified Pediatrician or Pediatric NP /PA
• License required: OH – IMLC state so can obtain quickly BUT cannot start credentialing with out license and DEA
• Certifications preferred: MD/NP/PA with demonstrated Pediatric Experience and recent work Experience
• Certifications required: BLS
• Minimum experience required: 2 years with pediatric OP healthcare
Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
