Advanced Spine and Pain Centers is seeking a certified Nurse Practitioner for our Delaware/Virginia/ Baltimore offices.

Candidates with previous experience in pain management and/or orthopedics are highly desirable.

Nurse Practitioner Requirements: Nurse Practitioner must have graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with current license to practice in the State of Virginia.

The Pain Management Nurse Practitioner duties include but not limited to:

*Conduct thorough physical examination of patients presenting with pain-related concerns;

*Reviewing patient's medical history:

*Administer and monitor medication management for pain relief, following established protocols and guidelines;

*Consulting with other providers before deciding on a therapy or treatment program to help patients manage their pain;

*Using knowledge and pain management skills to find effective non-invasive treatment options;

*Performing joint injections;

* Provide patient education on pian management techniques, lifestyle modifications and self-care strategies;

*Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients;

*Stay updated with the latest advancements and research in the field of pain management through continuous learning and professional development.

Qualifications:

* Active VA/MD license;

*Previous experience in the field of pain management is preferred;

*Excellent clinical skills, including physical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.

*Ability to work independently and take initiative, demonstrating a high level of autonomy in decision-making.

*Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.

*Dedication to providing compassionate and patient-centered care, with a focus on improving the quality of life for individuals living with chronic pain.

*Commitment to maintaining professional ethics, confidentiality, and adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
