Facility in Angels Camp, CA seeking NP Pain Management locums coverage

Rates: $150/hr

Schedule:

• Monday - Thursday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (30-minute lunch)
• Starting ASAP
• 4 days every other week or 2 days a week
• 1 week on, 1 week off for 3 months with the option to extend

Setting: Outpatient clinic. Low MME clinic.

Duties:

• See pain management patients under the direction of the pain management physician.
• NP/PA is not expected to escalate opiate doses, which is typically done only by the physician.

Procedures:

• None required.
• Optional procedures, with training available from the physician if interested.

Support Staff:

• Medical Assistant, Front Office staff, and direction from Pain Management Physician.

FTE: 0.5

Reason for Coverage:

• Growing pain management practice.
• Interim coverage while recruiting for a part-time PA.

Patient Load:

• 14-17 patients per day

First Day Info:

• Training on EHR (Cerner PCA)
• Training with Pain Management Physician

Requirements:

• AANP or NCCPA Certified or Truly Board Eligible
• Active CA License or Compact License
• Active ACLS, BLS, and DEA
• Must have interventional pain experience
• Covid Vaccinated
