A reputable healthcare system, located 2 1/2 hours east of Seattle Washington, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Total Joint Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner to join their team. This is a full-time position offering a generous salary and comprehensive benefits. The role focuses on providing exceptional patient care, assisting in surgeries, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support orthopedic health.

Job Duties:

  • Provide specialized health care, including examination, diagnosis, and treatment of chronic and acute conditions and injuries.
  • Assist in surgeries, including providing first-assist support.
  • Counsel patients and families, addressing physical and emotional health issues.
  • Participate in health promotional activities, community events, and committee work.
  • Engage in clinical care planning and decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records using the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
  • Record statistics and participate in research as needed.
  • Collaborate with staff and physicians to develop care plans tailored to patients' needs.
  • Maintain active Basic Life Support (CPR) certification.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required: NCCPA Certification


Preferred:

  • Orthopedic experience as a provider
  • First-assist experience in surgical settings
