Momentum Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for a permanent position in Coos Bay, OR. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated oncology team in a well-established medical facility, providing compassionate care to patients battling cancer in a supportive environment.
Position: Permanent NP/PA – Oncology
Location: Coos Bay, Oregon
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive oncology care, including patient assessments, treatment plans, and follow-up.
Administer and monitor chemotherapy treatments, targeted therapies, and immunotherapies.
Collaborate with oncologists and other healthcare providers to create and implement individualized care plans.
Educate patients and families on treatment options, side effects, and self-care during and after treatment.
Coordinate clinical trials and ensure patient participation in appropriate studies.
Maintain thorough medical documentation and follow hospital policies for record-keeping.
Participate in tumor board meetings and assist in the development of treatment protocols.
Qualifications:
Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with licensure in Oregon or ability to obtain licensure.
Previous oncology experience preferred, but new graduates with a strong interest in oncology are encouraged to apply.
Strong clinical and critical thinking skills to provide effective patient care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary care team.
