A Duke Cancer Network-affiliated Cancer Center located on the South Carolina Coast near Myrtle Beach has a job opening for a Nurse Practitioner to join its team. The team works closely with the Duke Cancer Institute's resources, ensuring the latest technology, therapies, and patient care protocols are available locally.

Job Details:

  • 40% Oncology and 60% Hematology
  • Outpatient Clinic Role
  • Standard office hours: Monday-Thursday: 8 am-5 pm/Friday 8 am-12 pm
  • 4.5 Days of clinic times, .5 day admin time per week
  • No Call
  • Average patient volume: 15-20 patients per day
  • This role includes managing chemotherapy treatments, patient follow-ups, and collaborative care with the physician team.
  • Cerner EMR
  • Support Staff: This NP will have a dedicated nurse and work closely with the oncology nursing team
  • Join 3 Physicians and 1 APP
  • Demographics: A diverse patient population, ranging from early-stage diagnoses to complex, advanced cases.

Requirements:

  • Family, Adult/Gerontology, or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification
