alley Medical Center (VMC) is actively recruiting a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant) – Oncology to join our area clinics in our collaborative network where you will have easy access to system-wide support as you work alongside a highly motivated and skilled Oncology team. We provide patient-centered, team-based care to a diverse population of patients. This position will provide weekend coverage in our Infusion Center.
Qualifications
At least one year of oncology experience is strongly preferred
Experience managing chemo toxicities strongly preferred
Working Hours
Average # of patients seen per day: 10-14
We have triage nursing, financial coordinators, and treatment authorizers.
PharmD embedded in the Infusion Center
Support subspecialties with IR, GI, therapeutic and diagnostic interventionist, colorectal surgeons, and breast surgeons
Busy practice with lots of growth opportunities
Practitioners: 5 Medical Oncologists, one Medical Oncology APP, one Gynecology Oncology APP and 2 radiation oncologists.
