Job Overview: We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional care to patients in the fields of surgical oncology and plastic surgery. This position offers the opportunity to work in both independent and shared clinic settings, collaborating closely with a supportive team of healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in surgical oncology and/or plastic surgery, with demonstrated proficiency in patient care and procedural skills.
Key Job Details:
- Number of Patients per Day: Independent clinics typically see approximately 12 patients per day, while shared clinics handle 20 to 30 patients, distributed among team members.
- Support Staff: Each day (excluding Fridays) includes 2 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), 2 Registered Nurses (RNs) dedicated to service coverage, and typically, a Medical Assistant (MA).
- Credentialing: Anticipated duration of 60 to 90 days

- Requirements:
- Board Certification: Yes; Nurse Practitioners must hold one of the following certifications: AGNP-C, ANP-C, FNP-C, AGACNP-BC, AGPCNP-BC, ACNP-BC, ANP-BC, FNP-BC, or ACNPC-AG.
- State License Required: Yes, must be licensed in the State of California.
- DEA Certification: Required
- CSR Certification: Required
- Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum Experience: Candidates should possess 1 to 5 years of recent and relevant experience as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in surgical oncology and/or plastic surgery. Proficiency in performing procedures such as biopsies, tissue expansion, and wound care is essential. Experience in a high patient volume oncology practice/environment is strongly preferred, with particular emphasis on breast oncology experience.
