We are hiring a Occupational Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a locum assignment in east Michigan for ongoing coverage!

Job details:

• Start: As soon as credentialled
• Schedule: 6:00am -3:00pm with one hour break. Four day workweek (Can be Monday - Thursday or Tuesday - Friday). No evenings, weekends or on-call requirements.
• Primary Care: provide comprehensive primary healthcare services to factory employees, including diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions, conducting physical exams, and ensuring employees' overall well-being.
• Urgent Care: respond promptly to urgent medical cases, accidents, and injuries on-site. Administer immediate care and determine the need for further treatment or hospital referrals. Prescribing medications: assess patient conditions and prescribe appropriate medications following established guidelines and formulary. Monitor medication management and educate patients on proper usage.
• Employee relationship building: establish and maintain positive relationships with factory employees, promoting trust and a comfortable healthcare environment. Act as a resource for health-related inquiries and concerns. Health promotion: conduct health education sessions and wellness programs to improve the overall health and well-being of employees. Address preventive care and lifestyle management.
• Record-keeping: maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting medical histories, treatments, and prescribed medications in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
  

Job Requirements:

• Board Certification
• MI license
• DEA
• BLS
• Clean Malpractice
  
• Local provider preferred
