We need a NP for Occupational Medicine job in Washington, DC
5 Week contract – 12/5/2024 – 1/6/2025
Schedule: Monday – Friday; 7:30-4:00PM w/ 1 hour lunch
Work Details:
· Support staff: LPN, Admin Coordinator
· Amount of coverage needed per month: Full Time
· Patients per day: 30
· Patient population/age:
· Department description: NP/PA will be responsible for new hire and all employees physicals and annual assessments. Injury assessments and treatment. Communicable diseases assessment and treatments. Working in compliance with DC DOH requirements. Maintaining records of Covid-19 infections and reporting to DOH every Wednesday. Meets the needs for resident physicians with their clinical rotation demands. Reviews work of the LPN and signs off. Reviews and clears students and resident physicians from other institutions.
· EMR: MedTrax
· Other Technology: Novius and Synapse
· Special procedures: PPd placement and reading. Fit testing. vaccinations. Lab. interpretation and intervention
· Skills required: Good assessment skill with best practice. Excellent customer service.
Practice Setting: Hospital
Requirements:
· Board Certification: BC
· License required: DC
· Certifications required: BCLS
· Minimum experience required: Must have 2 years of experience, Computer literate. Punctual.
Credentialing Timeframe: Expedited
