Schedule Details:
- 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM, with a one-hour break
- Four-day workweek (Monday - Thursday or Tuesday - Friday)
- No evenings, weekends, or on-call requirements
- Closed for all major holidays
Work Details:
- Practice Setting: Clinic, located onsite for approximately 218 people (low census!) in the manufacturing facility of our client
- EMR/Charting Software: Healthie
- Avg. Daily Census: Low
- Patient Age Group: Adult
- Procedures:
- Primary Care: Provide comprehensive primary healthcare services to factory employees, including diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions, conducting physical exams, and ensuring employees' overall well-being
- Urgent Care: Respond promptly to urgent medical cases, accidents, and injuries on-site; administer immediate care and determine the need for further treatment or hospital referrals
- Prescribing Medications: Assess patient conditions and prescribe appropriate medications following established guidelines and formulary; monitor medication management and educate patients on proper usage
- Employee Relationship Building: Establish and maintain positive relationships with factory employees, promoting trust and a comfortable healthcare environment; act as a resource for health-related inquiries and concerns
- Health Promotion: Conduct health education sessions and wellness programs to improve the overall health and well-being of employees; address preventive care and lifestyle management
- Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting medical histories, treatments, and prescribed medications in accordance with legal and ethical standards
- Interdisciplinary Care: Coordinate with off-site healthcare providers and specialists as necessary for employee referrals and continuity of care; collaborate with HR to support employee health initiatives
- Emergency Response: Be prepared to act efficiently in emergency situations, providing immediate care, stabilizing patients, and directing emergency protocols
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations, protocols, and industry standards, including occupational health and safety guidelines
- Clinic Management: Manage the day-to-day operations of the clinic, including supply inventory, equipment maintenance, and administrative tasks related to patient care
Requirements:
- Board Certifications Req’d/Preferred: Required
- State License(s): MI – Clean license required
- Certifications: BLS and CPR preferred
- DEA Required: Yes
- Years of Experience Required: 1
