Nurse Practitioner & Physician Assistant (PA-C) - Coldwater, MI

Job Type: Full Time

Shifts: Monday - Friday (8 AM - 5 PM)

Your responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Performing health assessments and preventative health measures within prescribed guidelines, state practice acts, and physician instructions.
• Conducting triage procedures for initial evaluations for musculoskeletal disorders and injuries such as sprains, strains, lacerations, and contusions
• Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's dysfunction and health care needs.
• Suturing
• Developing individualized plans of care and documenting care plans.
• Prescribing medication and/or referring for other healthcare services
• Performing injections and vaccines as appropriate
• Completing concise, comprehensive electronic medical record documentation.

Required Qualifications/Skills:

• 2 or more years of Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner experience
• An orthopedic/musculoskeletal background or Occupational Health experience is required.
• Active Michigan Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner License in good standing
• Excellent and dynamic people and communication skills
• Compassion for people
• High motivation level and professional confidence
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is helpful but not required
