Position Summary

Inomedic Health Applications, Inc. (IHA) is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) who is responsible for providing health care in support of Occupational Medical Services at the Hanford environmental restoration site in Richland, Washington. This is an in-person position full-time position with generous benefits including paid time off, paid holidays, and 401K.

Working Conditions:

  • Work may be performed at two locations and will involve frequent contact with other IHA and project employees, customers, clients, representatives, and vendors.
  • Performance of the work duties require walking, sitting, or standing for extended periods of time; may occasionally move and/or lift up to 50 pounds or more with assistance.
  • Complies with all Company safety policies and site-specific safety procedures.
  • Participates in and supports the Hanford safety program.
  • Ensures safe operating conditions within area of responsibility.
  • Identifies potential hazards, concerns, and safety incidents and reports to supervisory personnel.

Job Responsibilities

Duties/Responsibilities:

The Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant is responsible the following duties:

· Perform physical exams.

· Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses.

· Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments.

· Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients.

· Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures.

· Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities.

· Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care.


Requirements
The Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant shall have a minimum of two years of clinical experience in the provision of general medical services.

Clinical experience in providing Occupational Health services is highly desirable.

Qualifications

Requirements:

The Nurse Practitioner shall have a minimum of two years of clinical experience in provision of Occupational Health services (preferred) and/or general medical services.
The Nurse Practitioner shall possess and maintain a valid WA Nurse Practitioner License.
The Physician Assistance shall possess and maintain a valid WA Physician Assistant License (RCW 18.71A – Physician Assistants applies)
Clinical experience in providing Occupational Medicine, Family Practice, Urgent Care or ER is highly desirable.

Skills

Education / Training

The Nurse Practitioner shall possess a minimum of a BSN from an accreditable college or university.
The Physician Assistant shall possess a minimum of a master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Successful completion of the AHA training in BLS and ACLS is required for both NP/PA and ACLS certification shall be maintained and current at all times.
