Overview:
An independent physician network based in Tennessee is seeking additional Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (1.0 FTEs) to help staff a newly expanded 74-bed Level IV NICU and Special Care Nursery (SCN) within a nationally ranked children’s hospital in Tennessee.
What you will be doing:

Work rotating 12- and 24-hour shifts in an academic setting alongside residents

Provide comprehensive patient management in collaboration with the healthcare team, including patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment plan development, clinical and surgical procedures, medications ordering, documentation, and discharge planning.
What you must have:

Tennessee APRN licensure (or eligibility)

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree or higher

Board Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP-BC)

Tennessee Prescriptive Authority (or eligibility)

Knowledge of OSHA and FDA regulations

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice to have:
-
At least three years of NICU RN experience in a busy Level III or IV NICU.

At least one year of prior NNP experience, preferably in a Level III or IV NICU

A desire to work in an academic teaching environment

Prior experience providing comprehensive patient care from admission to discharge is a plus.
