Neuro-Critical Care APP Opening Albuquerque, NM

A premier healthcare facility in Albuquerque, New Mexico, is seeking a Neuro-Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join their expanding team. This is a long-term assignment designed for a provider eager to be part of a close-knit, low-turnover team that values teamwork and autonomy.

Position Details:

• Start Date: May 2025 (or earlier based on the credentialing timeline).
• Assignment Length: Ongoing through at least the end of 2025, with the potential for a 1-year commitment.
• Reason for Need: Department expansion and increased patient volumes.

Role Highlights:

• Pay Rate: $140/hour.
• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, 7 on/7 off rotation (provider must commit to two full 7-day blocks per month).
• Environment: High-acuity, high-volume Neuro-Critical Care unit.
• Team: Work alongside another provider during each shift in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications:

• Must be board-certified as either:
  • ACNP (Acute Care Nurse Practitioner)
  • PA-C (Certified Physician Assistant)
• Proficiency and confidence in common critical care procedures.
• Able to work independently with a high degree of autonomy.
• EMR System: Cerner experience is preferred but not required.
