Bronson Neuroscience Center has an outstanding opportunity to join their established, highly reputable practice in Southwest Michigan.

Our neuroscience team is seeking a team-focused, goal oriented, energetic Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. The candidate would provide care for adult neurology patients, with a schedule of supporting outpatient clinic and inpatient rounding and consults. This position is full-time, Monday–Friday with focus on general neurology and an opportunity to build subspecialty practice in stroke, epilepsy, dementia, and headache. This position will be working mainly at our Battle Creek location and will provide occasional support at satellite locations. No call or weekend requirements!

Our successful growing practice currently supports twelve neurologists and eight APPs. The ideal candidate will have a desire for providing personalized, evidence-based, care at the highest level in both in outpatient and inpatient setting. We are looking for someone who is a good team-player, eager to learn, has great communications skills, and a passion for neurology.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 – 2 years experience as an APP is preferred but not required. Experience in neurology, inpatient (e.g. hospitalist, critical care, ED), or internal/family medicine is preferred.
  • Must be able to practice independently with strong clinical decision making; communicate clearly with patients and caregivers and be able to navigate well through the EMR (Epic).
  • Is able to work both autonomously and in a team environment.
  • Graduate of accredited PA/NP program with unrestricted license to practice as a PA/NP in the state of Michigan.
