Locums NP Neonatology Need in Oregon

Coverage Needed

• ASAP - ongoing
• Schedule: 12 or 24-hour shifts (7am-7pm or 7am-7am)
• Cover 2 locations

Clinical Details

• Practice Setting: Inpatient, Level 2 NICU
• Patients Per Shift: 10-22
• EMR System: Epic
• Support Staff: 13 NNPs, 5 RNs
• Delivery Volume: 3000-4500
• NNP have patients on their service but a lot are of unit-based support, attend deliveries and do all procedures
• Physicians do the daily check ins with patients
• Office at both sites to use after hours and during the day
• The trauma level is now going to be a level 1 or level 2 scope instead of a level 3 scope

Requirements

• Board Certification: Eligible
• Certification Required: NRP
• License: Oregon license preferred; will look at providers that need to obtain their OR license
• Neonatology NP or Physician Assistants who have completed a 12-month Neonatal PA fellowship or residency program will be considered
• Local candidates - Preferred
• Experience with high delivery room volume - Preferred
