Nurse Practitioner - NICU

A hospital in NYC is seeking a dedicated Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse Practitioner to provide advanced care in their NICU.

About the opportunity:

Schedule: 10-12 shifts per month

Hours: weeknight from 7:30 pm to 8 am and 24 hours on weekends

Responsibilities:

• Provide advanced clinical care to neonates, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Perform procedures such as intubation, central line placement, and lumbar punctures.
• Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with the medical team.
• Educate and support families regarding neonatal conditions and treatments.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and best practices in neonatal care.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctorate in Nursing with Neonatal NP certification.
• Current NP and RN licensure in New York State.
• Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience preferred.
• Strong clinical and communication skills.
