Fort Myers, Florida, Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Job
Clinical Role:
State-of-the-art facility with a 70-bed, Level-III NICU
The health system has two facilities and 7000 deliveries per year
Provides a Level-I low-risk delivery service
Primary responsibilities include providing attending coverage at our Level-III NICU
All subspecialty services available (except cardiovascular surgery and ECMO) and high-risk delivery service coverage
In-house call and 24-hour NNP coverage
Level-I coverage includes well baby care and back-up coverage from home
Team of 10 neonatologists and 10 NNPs
We value a team-approach toward care, in a developmentally sensitive and family-centered unit

Robust quality improvement program and opportunities for clinical research, if desired
Exceptional new graduates are invited to apply - tuition assistance available
Candidates must be NNP Board Certified (cannot accept FNP, PNP, or any other NP certifications)
Not accepting new graduate candidates - 2+ years' experience as NNP required
Not accepting Locums candidates
NNPs do 12 hour shifts, there is an option for 24 hours based on experience level
NNPs work 156 hours a month (1872 a year)
Open to J1 and H1B visa candidates
This is a permanent position and we are not seeking a commuter or someone who wants block schedules
This is a permanent, full-time position that requires residency within the immediate local area. ?Relocation may be required
