Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) to take an Perm Job position in a Neonatal setting. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers competitive compensation and benefits. This NP will become part of an expanding team (5 NNPs, 2 Pediatricians, PNPs and 4 board-certified neonatologists from 4+ NNPs to 8+ NNPs to provide 24/7 coverage at both hospital locations) who will provide coverage at two hospital locations:
- The average census in NICU is 18-20
- 45 post-partum rooms
- Services include HFOV, iNO, whole body cooling for HIE.
- Using our Pediatric Hospitalist Service, team provides NBN coverage for >90% of all newborns born at Forsyth location
Second Location:
- New Women’s Center opened in 2017
- The average census in NICU is 13-15 (this has doubled since 2020).
- 16 NICU rooms including a Transition Nursery in NICU
- 24 post-partum rooms
- Services include HFOV, iNO, EEG. Whole body cooling at Forsyth only
- team provides NBN coverage for 100% of all deliveries at the Cherokee location
- Dedicated NICU pharmacy, nutritionists, PT/OT for development, speech therapy for feeds, and NICU milk prep at both sites
- Easy access to pediatric sub-specialists such as cardiology, neurology (remote EEG), and ophthalmology, Peds radiology at both sites.
Qualifications
Current APRN National Specialty Certification - Board Certified NNP (cannot accept FNP, PNP, or any other NP certifications) - REQUIRED
GA license (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
2+ years of current experience as NNP (not including RN experience) - REQUIRED
This is a permanent, full-time position that requires residency within the immediate local area. Relocation may be required.

Must Board Certified Neonatal NP (cannot accept PAs, FNP, PNP, or any other NP certifications).
