Position: Locum Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) – Neonatology

Key Responsibilities:
Provide specialized neonatal care for newborns in a hospital or NICU setting.
Perform comprehensive assessments, diagnose, and manage neonatal conditions.
Assist with resuscitation, stabilization, and ongoing treatment of critically ill newborns.
Collaborate with neonatologists, pediatricians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
Educate and support parents and families regarding neonatal health and care plans.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures as necessary.
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and progress.
Qualifications:
Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) certification with a focus on Neonatology.
Valid North Carolina state license or eligibility to obtain one.
Experience in neonatal care, including NICU or newborn care settings.
Strong clinical decision-making skills and the ability to work in high-pressure environments.
