Our client in Forsyth County, GA is in need of a Nurse Practitioner - Neonatology for a locum assignment!

Job details:

• Start: ASAP
• 2x different location
• The average census in NICU is 18-20 /
• 45 post-partum rooms
• Services include HFOV, iNO, whole body cooling for HIE.
• Using our Pediatric Hospitalist Service, our team provides NBN coverage for >90% of all newborns born
• New Women’s Center opened in 2017
• The average census in NICU is 13-15 (this has doubled since 2020).
• 16 NICU rooms including a Transition Nursery in NICU
• 24 post-partum rooms
• Services include HFOV, iNO, EEG. Whole body cooling at facility
• Dedicated NICU pharmacy, nutritionists, PT/OT for development, speech therapy for feeds, and NICU milk prep at both sites
• Easy access to pediatric sub-specialists such as cardiology, neurology (remote EEG), and ophthalmology, Peds radiology at both sites.
• NNP coverage is 24-hour shifts, 7-8 shifts per month
• NNPs work at both sites for scheduling flexibility
• NNP responsibilities will include NBN care in Newborn Nursery

Job Requirements:

• Master's Degree and/or Doctorate in Nursing - REQUIRED
• Current APRN National Specialty Certification - Board Certified NNP (cannot accept FNP, PNP, or any other NP certifications) - REQUIRED
• GA license (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
• 2+ years of experience as NNP (not including RN experience) - REQUIRED
