Job Description

Quick start is highly preferred.
The facility is designated as Trauma Level I.

Open to experienced NNPs and newly graduated NNPs with 3+ years of Level 3 and/or Level 4 NICU experience as an RN and/or NP. May also consider Family, Adult, Pediatric, PMHNP, or Women's Health NPs with 3+ years of Level 3 and/or Level 4 NICU experience. This is a very busy, high-level facility, and providers must be able to contribute immediately.

Candidates must reside within 1.5 hours of the facility. Relocation may be required (to be discussed at the interview).

Shifts include 12- and 24-hour rotations, managing 8-10 patients per day shift and 20-30 patients per night shift.

Responsibilities include performing procedures and attending high-risk deliveries. The night shift covers the unit with support from 3-4 NNPs, a Resident, a Fellow, and a Neonatologist.

72 weekend hours are required in a 6-week schedule, with Friday nights through 7:00 am Monday morning included.

The practice setting involves inpatient rounds.

Coverage is needed due to staffing shortages.

APRN with authorization to practice in Family, Adult, Pediatric, Neonatal, Psychiatric Mental Health, or Women's Health is required.

EMR documentation system: EPIC.

Credentialing takes approximately 4-6 months.

Clean malpractice and license history are required.
