Nurse Practitioner – NICU

Location:
San Francisco, California


Position Overview:

Join a Level IV NICU providing advanced care for critically ill infants, including a leading neonatal heart program treating nearly 200 newborns annually. Collaborate within a regional network of 24 hospitals delivering comprehensive neonatology services.


Schedule:

  • Full-time with 12-hour rotating shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.


Qualifications:

  • NNP-BC certification.
  • Master’s Degree in Nursing with a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner specialization.
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Neonate NP experience or completion of a Neonatal ICU Fellowship.


License/Certification Requirements:

  • Active RN, NP, and Furnishing licenses in California.
  • AHA BLS and NRP certifications.
  • Obtain and transfer a DEA license to California by the 90th day of practice.
  • Enrollment with CMS Medicare and Medicaid and CCS certification as appropriate.


Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary: $178,524–$233,020 annually.
