• • Minimum Years of Experience:

• • • At least 2 years of RN experience in a Level 3 or 4 NICU.
    • 2 years practicing as an NNP.

• • First-time traveler:

• • • Dependent on experience; candidates with more than 2 years of NNP experience may be considered.

• Certifications:

• • MSN-NNP certification through National Certification Corporation (NCC), BLS, NRP

• Credentialing:

• • Able to obtain emergency temporary credentials until the committee meets (1st Monday of every month).

• Support on the Unit:

• NPs on Staff: 8 total

o South: 1 NP on a 24-hour shift

o East: 1 NP on a 24-hour shift

• Call Rooms: Available at both locations

• Technology/Equipment:

• • EMR: Cerner (required)
  • IV Pumps: Abbott Plum Pumps, Medfusion Syringe Pumps
  • Medication Dispensing: Omnicell
  • Monitors: SpaceLabs

• Floating: If yes, where? Yes

• • Between Campuses:

• • • Baptist South and Baptist East
    • Pre-scheduled

• • Higher NICU volumes expected at Baptist East
