Join Our Team as a Nurse Practitioner in Neonatology!

Located in the heart of Macon, Georgia, we are seeking an additional Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to enhance our dedicated team of Neonatologists and experienced NNPs. Our facility boasts a state-of-the-art, Level-III NICU within the newly opened Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital, a Magnet Hospital for Nursing Excellence. We pride ourselves on being the only dedicated pediatric hospital in central and south Georgia, offering exceptional care and services. Job Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality neonatal care in a 66-bed, state-of-the-art Level-III NICU.
• Work variable shifts including 10-hour shifts Monday to Thursday, 8-hour weekend shifts, and cover 16-hour nights four days per week with no on-call duties.
• Administer advanced services such as high-frequency ventilation, nitric oxide therapy, and brain cooling.
• Collaborate with readily available subspecialty support to ensure comprehensive care.
• Assist in the clinical education and training of medical residents from Mercer Medical School.

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree and/or Doctorate in Nursing.
• Current board certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP). (FNP, PNP, or any other NP certifications will not be accepted.)
• A minimum of 2 years of current employment experience as an NNP (not including RN experience).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Georgia nursing license (or willingness to obtain).
• APRN National Specialty Certification as a Board Certified NNP by the time of start.
