Our client is seeking a Neonatology Nurse Practitioner in NC (Full time position). I believe this role could be an excellent fit for your career aspirations.

Job Responsibilities

Level 1 unit will have an anticipated 600 deliveries a year
An average daily census of about 5 newborns
24-hour shifts: rounding on newborns in-house during the day and then take call from home NNPs will be responsible for daily rounds on newborns, attending deliveries when requested and will take call from home Practitioners would also stabilize, manage and facilitate transport of newborns to adjacent NICUs for newborns needing higher level care

Qualifications

Master's Degree and/or Doctorate in Nursing - REQUIRED
Current APRN National Specialty Certification - Board Certified NNP (cannot accept FNP, PNP, or any other NP certifications) - REQUIRED
NC license (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
Current 2+ years of employment experience as NNP (not including RN experience) - REQUIRED
