Job Responsibilities

- NICU Level: Level 4 – they take care of surgical patients but do not care for CV post of patients, those patients go to PICU
- Transports: No, permanent NP staff does transports
- Well Baby/Step Down Units: No well baby at this time, yes step down
- Experience with Level 4 NICU care, competent in the delivery room

Qualifications

DEA-controlled Substance Registration Certificate; NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program;PALS; Board Certification; Board Eligible

Skills

- Procedures: Competent at umbilical line placement, central line placement/Peripherally inserted central lines, arterial line placement, intubation, newborn resuscitation, lumbar puncture, and chest tube placement.
