TMC Rincon, TMC Health’s newest hospital, is looking to hire full-time NNPs. Duties will include:

1) Attend high risk deliveries for neonatal resuscitation. TMC Rincon should only have low risk deliveries, but there may be situations where the delivery becomes higher risk during labor or at the time of delivery.

2) Evaluate newborns in the hospital, when needed, due to clinical concerns. Most of this work can be done via phone, but there might be times when a baby may need to be evaluated in person. The TMC NICU physician would be the collaborating physician in these circumstances.

3) Take calls from nurses about newborn patients. Calls covered for TMC Rincon during the day and overnight, and also cover TMC Newborn call overnight.

Additionally, NNP will rotate through TMC’s Level IIIb NICU, periodically.
