Dallas, Texas, Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Job
- Clinical Role:
- This is a permanent position
- 12- and 24-hour shifts managing 8-10 patients per day shift and 20-30 patients per night shift
- Perform procedures and attend high-risk deliveries
- The night shift covers unit with support from 3-4 NNPs, resident, fellow, and neonatologist
- 72 weekend hours required in a 6-week schedule, with Friday nights through 7:00 am Monday morning included
- Inpatient rounds as practice setting
- Coverage needed due to staffing shortage
- Start date as soon as credentialed
- APRN with authorization to practice in Family, Adult, Pediatric, Neonatal, Psychiatric Mental Health, or Women's Health required
- Facility designated as Trauma Level I
- EMR documentation system: EPIC
- Candidates must reside within 1.5 hours of the facility. Relocation may be required (to be discussed at interview).
- Open to newly graduated NNP with 4 years+ NICU experience
- Not open to Locums candidates
- Not open to 1099 candidates
- Not open to visa candidates
- Open to candidates seeking alternate shift schedules to what is described above
- Not open to candidates who have lapsed Board Certification(s) and need to obtain them again
- Clean malpractice and license are required
