A well-respected healthcare facility in Tucson, Arizona, is seeking two experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs) to provide round-the-clock coverage in a newly opened Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) newborn nursery. This is an ongoing locum tenens assignment with 24/7 coverage needed. The role includes morning rounds on new babies and ongoing call coverage throughout each shift. Providers must be licensed in Arizona and hold current certifications in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
Assignment Details
- Start Date: December 3, 2024
- Schedule: 24/7 call coverage required, with daily rounds in the morning
- Holiday Coverage: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day

Job Responsibilities
Provide continuous 24/7 on-call coverage, ensuring prompt response and care for any neonatal emergencies.
Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality neonatal care.
Document all care interactions accurately within the Epic EMR system.
Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and Arizona state regulations for neonatal care.
Qualifications
Current NRP certification (required).
Experience in neonatal care, ideally within a labor and delivery, newborn nursery, or NICU setting.
Proficiency with Epic or similar EMR systems is preferred.
