We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced full-time Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to play a leadership role in a brand new, 10-bed LDRP Level-I Nursery. IDEAL NNP OPPORTUNITY!

Job Description:

  • This Level 1 unit will have an anticipated 600 deliveries a year
  • An average daily census of about 5 newborns
  • 24-hour shifts: rounding on newborns in-house during the day and then take call from home
  • NNPs will be responsible for daily rounds on newborns, attending deliveries when requested and will take call from home
  • Practitioners would also stabilize, manage and facilitate transport of newborns to adjacent NICUs for newborns needing higher level care
  • Candidates must be NNP Board Certified (cannot accept FNP, PNP, or any other NP certifications)
  • Not accepting new graduate candidates - CURRENT 2+ years of employment experience as NNP (not including RN experience) is required
