Seeking a full-time, experienced NNP to join our expanding Neonatology practice in beautiful North Atlanta dedicated to serving the needs of newborns and their families.
Job Description:
- We are expanding to a team of 5 NNPs, 2 Pediatricians, PNPs and 4 board-certified neonatologists from 4+ NNPs to 8+ NNPs to provide 24/7 coverage at 2 locations
- Location # 1
- The average census in NICU is 18-20
- 45 post-partum rooms
- Services include HFOV, iNO, whole body cooling for HIE.
- Using our Pediatric Hospitalist Service, our team provides NBN coverage for >90% of all newborns born at Forsyth location
- Location # 2
- New Women’s Center
- The average census in NICU is 13-15.
- 16 NICU rooms including a Transition Nursery in NICU
- 24 post-partum rooms
- Services include HFOV, iNO, EEG.
- Dedicated NICU pharmacy, nutritionists, PT/OT for development, speech therapy for feeds, and NICU milk prep at both sites
- Easy access to pediatric sub-specialists such as cardiology, neurology (remote EEG), and ophthalmology, Peds radiology at both sites.
- NNP coverage is 24-hour shifts, 7-8 shifts per month
- NNPs work at both sites for scheduling flexibility
- NNP responsibilities will include NBN care in Newborn Nursery
- This is a permanent, full-time position that requires residency within the immediate local area. Relocation may be required.
- Not accepting new graduate candidates - Current 2+ years of employment experience as NNP (not including RN experience) is required.
- Must Board Certified Neonatal NP (cannot accept PAs, FNP, PNP, or any other NP certifications).
