Seeking Experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner for Newly Transitioned Level III NICU in Summerville, South Carolina!
Envision Physician Services is seeking board certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioners for our advanced Level III NICU practice at Summerville Medical Center (SMC) in Summerville, South Carolina. The ideal candidate is an individual with level 3 or 4 experience and skilled in neonatal procedures, who is passionate about collaborative care, education of the NICU team members and families, and helping advance the level of care in the unit

Opportunity Details:
- Staffing Model: 2 Neonatologists, 4.5 NNPs
- NICU beds:16 / NBN beds: 30
- NNPs are responsible for the following:
- In-house coverage for 24-hr shifts
- Collaborative care with the NEO (30-min response time)
- Attendance at deliveries
- Communication with families
- Schedule:
- 24-hr shifts
- Full-time annual hours: 1947
- 6-7 shifts per month
- Part-time annual hours: 974
- Approximately 41 shifts per year/ 3-4 shifts per month
- Summerville 2024 (YTD) Data:
- Deliveries: approximately 1,650
- Summerville NICU ADC: 11; Newborn Nursery ADC: 5.5
There is growth and expansion within Women and Children medical services at SMC which services the busiest Pediatric Emergency Room in South Carolina and is staffed with dedicated Pediatric EM-trained physicians. There is availability of variety of Pediatric subspecialty support, including Pediatric Surgery, Pediatric GI, Pediatric Anesthesia, Radiology, with telemedicine coverage for Pediatric Cardiology.
