ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville, North Carolina is seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner-Acute Care or Physician Assistant to provide care to preterm and term newborn infants in the NICU. The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, a level IV center, consists of 52 NICU Beds and a 20-bed step down unit. ECU Health Children’s Hospital is the only tertiary facility in eastern North Carolina designed especially for pediatric patients and includes ECMO and pediatric surgery programs.

New NNP and PNP-AC graduates are encouraged to apply. PA’s must have two years of NICU and/or Newborn experience.

Job Requirements include:

  • Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner-Acute Care, or Physician Assistant
  • NC RN licensure & NC Nurse Practitioner or NC licensure as a Physician Assistant
  • National Board Certification as a Neonatal NP, Pediatric NP-Acute Care, or as PA required, including maintenance
  • 2+ years of experience in health care setting
  • Applicants will be required to have BLS certification from The American Heart Association
