Up to $40,000 Start Date/Relocation Bonus - Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
Envision Physician Services is seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join the team in Phoenix, AZ --- specifically in our West Valley: Our group provides Neonatology services at 6-facilities within the Banner Health system and 2-facilities within Tenet Healthcare. We have a mix of Level II and Level III NICUs throughout the Phoenix market. The ideal candidate will have strong Level III skills, be comfortable working in an autonomous environment, exhibit confidence in decision-making, and work well in a team

Opportunity Details:
- Staffing Model: 9 Neonatologists/ 40 APPs
- Cover at multiple facilities with varied volume/acuity. Each APP is part of a core facility/team.
- Schedule:
- 12 hour day shifts
- Neos round during the day at multiple facilities; Call from home at night
- Centralized self-scheduling to optimize work/life balance:
- 3-month blocks
- Request days off and days to work
- Try to honor requests as much as possible
- Collegial and collaborative culture between physicians and APPs
- Strong APP leadership structure
- Director of Advanced Practice Providers
- NNP Lead at each facility
- NNP Educator role for group
- Strong APP leadership structure

NICU and Newborn Nursery Bed Size: 6 beds Average Daily Census: 1-2 Annual Births/Deliveries: 1,500-1,800 APP Support: NNP in house 12 hrs per day C-section rate: 30% EMR: Cerner and PremiEHR Average Patient Age Range: 32 weeks and above Shift Responsibilities and Procedures: Unit coverage includes: newborns (3-5 per day), high risk deliveries, NICU patients (1-2 per day). Patients needing high flow or greater are transferred to other NICUs. High acuity patients are transferred to Arrowhead or PCH Daily patient load per clinician: 3-6 PICU/NICU Level: Level 2 - low acuity List other Certification requirements: NRP, updated TB, Tdap shift coverage model: 12 hour shifts Shift times: 7a-7p Call required: No Weekend required: Yes Min # of shifts a month: 4 Additional details: Cross credentialing required at both Abrazo locations - Arrowhead and West. 30+ transports Feed Arrowhead Newborns OB in-house 24/7
