Job Opportunity: Locum Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine in Salt Lake City, UT

Join a dedicated team of healthcare professionals as a Nurse Practitioner in Salt Lake City, Utah. This position is ideal for those looking to provide specialized care to our nation's veterans through comprehensive Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. Job Responsibilities:

• Perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments on a PRN basis.
• Conduct interview-based evaluations with physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
• Complete standardized Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) within 48 hours of exam completion.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow-up administrative tasks as required.
• Provide evaluations mainly for musculoskeletal, diabetes, respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions.
• Work collaboratively with a New Provider Liaison to navigate the provider portal and complete required training.
• Ensure compliance with credentialing and training processes.

Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Utah.
• Certification from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
• Proficient in METs testing, evaluating respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
• Experience in general medicine, family medicine, or internal medicine preferred.
• Must own a personal laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
• Ability to complete DMA training to become DMA certified.
• Current CV with a home address listed.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Utah.
• AANP certification required.
• If attended school outside of the U.S., an ECFMG certificate is necessary.
