Locum - Internal Medicine - NP

Job Title: Locum Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine

Join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals in Washington, where we provide essential services to our nation's veterans. We are seeking General Medicine Nurse Practitioners to conduct Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. You’ll be working in your own office or at one of our leased facilities, actively contributing to the well-being of veterans in your community.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct compensation and pension exams for veterans.
• Perform separation health assessments as required.
• Evaluate and diagnose respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions.
• Complete standardized forms for examinations within 48 hours.
• Engage in follow-up administrative work, including addendums and medical opinions.
• Maintain proficiency in Musculoskeletal, Diabetes, and Cardio evaluation.
• Utilize a goniometer for assessments.
• Participate in training for Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs).

Qualifications:

• Proficient in METs testing and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
• Must own a personal laptop (Mac/Apple products are not permitted).
• Must have an active and unrestricted full license to practice.
• AANP certification required.
• Willingness to complete DMA training for certification.
• Current CV must include home address for presentation.
• ECFMG certificate required if applicable.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in Washington State.
• AANP certification preferred.
• DMA certification to be obtained if not already certified.
