Locum - Internal Medicine - NP

Job Title: Locum Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine in Wyoming

Join a dedicated team of health professionals committed to serving our nation's Veterans! We are currently seeking General Medicine Nurse Practitioners to conduct Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. You’ll have the opportunity to work in beautiful locations across Wyoming, including Casper, Rock Springs, and Cheyenne.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and health assessments.
• Perform interviews and physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
• Complete standardized forms and Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) within 48 hours.
• Utilize a Goniometer and other tools for assessments.
• Participate in administrative follow-up work, including medical opinions and diagnostic reviews.
• Travel to various sites as needed for patient evaluations.

Qualifications:

• Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine.
• Proficient in METs testing, respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological condition evaluations.
• Own a personal laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner.
• Active and unrestricted full license.
• Must be open to completing DMA training to become DMA certified.
• Current CV with home address listed.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certification.
• Active and unrestricted full license in the state of Wyoming.
• DMA certification required (training provided).
• ECFMG certificate if attended school outside the U.S.
