Local Team Collaboration:
- Join our close-knit team of critical care nurse practitioners, with members from various practice backgrounds, as we focus on providing exceptional care for ICU patients.
- Work alongside experienced professionals who live nationwide and travel to our hospital partner sites nationwide, bringing diverse expertise and a shared commitment to high-quality patient care.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of ICU experience as an independent practitioner, with a strong passion for teamwork, integrity, and delivering high-quality patient care.
- Sound’s licensing team will assist in obtaining any necessary state licenses to work at our hospital partner locations, and we will cover the cost of these licenses.
Practice in the Heart of the Community
Flexible Scheduling:
- Ambassadors work a modified block schedule to maximize travel and minimize transitions, ensuring an optimal work-life balance.
- This position entails 12-14 night shifts per month, each 12 hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide care in various community hospital ICU settings, demonstrating adaptability across different patient needs and environments.
- Collaborate with fellow nurse practitioners, taking on leadership opportunities to develop new team models and mentor new team members.
- Participate in team meetings and initiatives, driving high-quality care and advancing our mission to improve bedside care.
- Must be proficient in performing arterial lines, central lines, and intubations
Living and Working as an Ambassador:
- As an ambassador nurse practitioner, you’ll be able to work with our ICU teams in Arizona, California, and New Mexico—vibrant cities offering a rich blend of culture, outdoor activities, and family-friendly amenities. From California’s Central Valley with access to the Sierra Nevada Mountain range to Tucson’s world-class dining and outdoor attractions, there’s always something to enjoy.

Rewards and Benefits:
- Compensation: $224,640-$280,800 dependent on shift commitment.
