As an Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive healthcare services to adult patients. You will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of medical conditions.

Job Responsibilities

Conducting thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.
Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic conditions.
Prescribing medications and therapies in accordance with state and federal regulations.
Providing patient education on disease prevention, health maintenance, and treatment options.
Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Participating in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education to stay current with medical advancements.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
Current Nurse Practitioner license in CA.
Certification as an Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with a focus on internal medicine.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in internal medicine or a related field.
Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.

Working Hours

Monday - Friday
8 am - 5 pm
