Barton Associates is working with a client to fill a locum tenens Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner position in a multi-specialty clinic. This opportunity offers a chance to work with an adult patient population in a dynamic healthcare environment.


Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive internal medicine care for adult patients

• Manage common conditions such as colds, cough, flu, diabetes, and hypertension

• Conduct wellness checks and preventive care visits

• Diagnose and treat various acute and chronic conditions

• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans

• Complete necessary paperwork and documentation

• Maintain accurate and timely medical records using Epic EMR system

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure quality patient care


The ideal candidate will be an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP) comfortable with a diverse range of internal medicine services, proficient in using Epic EMR, and able to manage a significant amount of paperwork.
