Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly qualified and adaptable Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team in Stratford, CT. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive medical assessments for patients
  • Perform physical examinations and compile detailed patient histories.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including x-rays, ECGs, and lab work, to identify deviations from normal.
  • Administer therapeutic procedures, such as injections, immunizations, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
  • Educate and counsel patients on treatment regimens, lifestyle modifications, and health maintenance.
  • Develop and implement patient management plans, documenting progress and ensuring continuity of care.
  • Assist in establishing, implementing, and revising policies to improve healthcare quality and safety.
  • Contribute to educational programs and training sessions for healthcare staff.
  • Consistently provide compassionate, patient-focused care, ensuring a positive experience regardless of patient volume.
  • Adapt to changing clinic needs by adjusting schedules, shifts, and priorities as required.
  • Seek professional development opportunities to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and clinic leadership, upholding core values and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field from an accredited institution.
  • Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program or equivalent Nurse Practitioner credentials.
  • Successful completion of the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (PANCE), if applying as a PA.
  • Current licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in Connecticut, with maintenance of licensure throughout employment.
