Job Posting: General Internal Medicine NP

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive health maintenance and chronic disease management.
• Offer HIV specialty care, including managing patients living with HIV/AIDS.
• Coordinate care with registered nurses, medical assistants, health educators, and case managers for patients with HIV/AIDS.
• Administer HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) and post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP).
• Serve as the HIV clinical consult for the agency's staff.
• Engage with a patient population that includes a significant percentage of Spanish-speaking individuals (approx. 30%).

Training:

• One week of EMR training and shadowing will be provided.

Ideal Candidate:

• Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
  
• DEA Certification required.
• Ability to speak Spanish is highly preferred.
  
• Immediate start available; credentialing time frame is 30-45 days
