My client is a medical center located in the Ulster County, NY area that delivers efficient and high-quality care to their patients. They are currently seeking an NP or PA to join their team!

Responsibilities include caring for, diagnosing, and managing adult patients in a primary care setting. This NP will collaborate with the team in diagnosing and creating plans for each patient. They will also provide medical services that are directly related to their specialty in agreement with established protocols, standing orders, policies, and procedures under the supervision of a physician.

Essential Duties

• Conduct thorough physical exams, take medical histories, and order diagnostic tests.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions.
• Provide routine and preventive care, including immunizations, screenings, and wellness checks.
• Prescribe medications and manage treatment regimens in accordance with state regulations.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and improve patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Participate in community outreach and health education programs as needed.

Qualifications

• NP or PA license required
• Minimum 3 years of primary care exp required
• Experience in a non-profit setting preferred, but not required
• Must have friendly and professional skills

Please note- The annual base salary range is $120k to $140k. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
