Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team in Natchez, MS. This position is ideal for a professional who thrives in an inpatient care environment and is committed to providing high-quality patient care.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations and management of hospitalized patients
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab work and imaging
  • Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans
  • Provide patient and family education regarding conditions, medications, and care plans
  • Participate in discharge planning to ensure seamless transitions of care

Qualifications

  • Licensure: Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Mississippi
  • Certifications:
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) – required
    • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – required
  • Experience: Prior experience as a Hospitalist NP or in an acute care setting is strongly preferred
